Celebrities Respond After Heartbreaking Video Of A Boy Being Bullied In School Goes Viral

A story of a young boy being bullied in school has captured the hearts of millions after a video appeared online of him pleading for the bullies to leave him alone. (scroll down for video)

Keaton Jones from Knoxville, Tennessee was filmed in tears by his mother Kimberly, asking:

“Just out of curiosity, why do they bully? What’s the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them.
It’s not okay.”

The footage has gone so viral that it has reached prominent celebrities, public figures, and even Donald Trump Jr.

President of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), Dana White shared the video of young Keaton proclaiming he wants to invite him to Las Vegas to hang out at the UFC Headquarters.

Meet Keaton Jones a very smart little boy who is being bullied at school. This video is heartbreaking!! I want to bring Keaton to Vegas and hang out at UFC Headquarters. If anyone knows how i can reach the family please let me know. Thank u everyone

Dana White’s tweet then caught the attention of Donald Trump Jr., to which he responded by quote-tweeting:

This boy is incredibly brave and the video really got to me. @danawhite, If he takes you up on your offer to see UFC Headquarters, I would be honored to host him and his family at our place if they need somewhere to stay. https://twitter.com/danawhite/status/939754929866117125

In response to Keaton’s question, his mother asked, “What did they say to you?”

Keaton replied through tears, “They make fun of my nose. They call me ugly. They say I have no friends.”

His mother followed up by asking, “What did they do to you at lunch?”

Keaton said, “Poured milk on me and put ham down my clothes. Threw bread at me.”

He then added, “I don’t like that they do it to me and I for sure don’t like that they do it to other people because it’s not okay.

People that are different, don’t need to be criticized about it. It’s not their fault. If you are made fun of just don’t let it bother you. Stay strong I guess. It’s hard.

“But it’ll probably get better one day“.

With over 16 million views on Facebook alone after his mother posted it, the story has gone viral around the world, with many offering the boy gifts and support to make up for his bad experience:

Keaton Jones’ older sister, Lakyn, has been “flooded” with so many kind wishes that she can’t even reply to everyone:

Along with posting the video to Facebook his mother Kimberly wrote:

“For the record, Keaton asked to do this AFTER he had he me pick him up AGAIN because he was afraid to go to lunch.

“My kids are by no stretch perfect, & at home, he’s as all boy as they come, but by all accounts he’s good at school. Talk to your kids. I’ve even had friends of mine tell me their kids were only nice to him to get him to mess with people.

“We all know how it feels to want to belong, but only a select few know how it really feels not to belong anywhere.”

I would love to come meet this guy and provide bodyguard services!!!Connect me as well!!!! Bullies suck!! I won’t stand for it! https://twitter.com/natebain/status/939570496659587072

The Daily Mail reported:

Keaton is an inspiration to the more than 3.2 million students who fall victim to bullying each year.

“His story echoes that of the 17 per cent of American students who report being bullied two to three times a month or more within a school semester.

“Now that Keaton has your attention, stand up against bullying by visiting StopBullying.gov to learn more about what you can do.”

Dana White followed up his previous tweet thanking for the support and saying he is excited to be meeting Keaton:

Thank u all for helping try to find Keaton. 1000% greatest post and response in my social media history. This kid is special and we all feel it. Dying to meet him!!
